Bitcoin Magazine: Trump’s Victory Could Spark a ‘Space Race’ for Bitcoin

David Bailey, CEO of Bitcoin Magazine and a crypto advisor to Trump’s campaign team, suggests that a victory for Trump in the upcoming election could trigger a “space race” for Bitcoin, as countries rush to align their policies with the United States.

Bitcoin has already emerged as a significant factor in the U.S. election. Bailey believes that Trump’s win would transform the crypto landscape both in the U.S. and globally.

Bailey asserts that Trump’s triumph would set off a Bitcoin “space race,” prompting several countries to reposition their crypto policies in response to impending changes in the U.S. Moreover, this scenario would position the crypto industry as a major lobbying force in the forthcoming election.

“The future government won’t mess with us anymore. We will prove that it’s political suicide. Instead, they will seek our support,” Bailey stated.

Bailey made these comments while revealing his involvement in aiding former President Trump’s cryptocurrency campaign efforts. He also discussed raising $100 million to back Trump’s pro-crypto campaign, noting that he has already secured “several seven-figure commitments.”

“The commitments are steadily increasing, and we can definitely reach $100 million,” he emphasized. While not an astronomical figure, Bailey claimed this amount is substantial enough to impact the upcoming election. He explained, “A hundred million dollars is about 10% of the total funds raised for the campaign. This puts us on par with big energy companies and twice the size of the NRA. It’s very significant.”

Cryptocurrency could be a decisive factor in the election. A recent Harris Poll commissioned by Digital Currency Group (DCG) found that crypto is becoming a crucial issue for voters in key swing states.
